Photographers Comments… Now this shot turned out to be very lucky and the last shot taken with my legendary best friend, the 350D… 2 sec after the shutters closed and opened again, and without paying close attention to my surroundings, both my trusty old friend and I got ambushed by an unsuspected wave, which drenched me and at the same time pulled my tripod and camera with it back into the ocean… I managed to catch 1 of the legs of the tripod and pull back what belonged to me, but I was too late. My old 350D has seen its day. Luckily it blessed me with this stunning shot and the splashes on the lens explain clearly what hit us straight afterwards! Danie is my witness..
Settings: Canon 350D, Lens: 18mm, F/22, 1.6 sec, ISO: 100, Touched up in Photoshop, with brightness and Contrast, Levels, and Curves for the final touch.
