December’s Photo Critic Photo of the Month goes to Michael Krige for his portrait “Heroin”. He shot this image for his class assignment while doing a Basic Photography Course with us. The assignment was a window light portrait. He shot this portrait inside a drug rehabilitation centre and depicts a Heroin Addict on his way to recovery. Well done Michael you get a free 1-day Workshop with DPC.
Michael’s winning shot is the last entry, this year, that will be taken into account for the sought-after Photo Critic Photo of the Year Competition. The SOTY will be announced on 14 January 2014. The SOTY Winner will receive a cash price of 2, 500 South African Rand as well as a complete Advanced Photography Course and two 1-day Workshops with DPC. The Runner up will get a cash price of 500 South African Rands including three 1-day Workshops with us. Terms and conditions apply.
