About the Lightroom Classic Course

We are excited to announce that our Lightroom course now consist of 2-Day in-person training, with access to our Online Classroom which include over 40 hours of video tutorials by Danie.

We cover all the most important aspects of digital workflow and portfolio management, from importing, sorting, managing and retouching to exporting images for print and online applications. Retouch different types of image, from portraits, landscapes, architecture, wildlife, etc.

Course details

  • Small classes with a maximum of 12 people.
  • Learn how to use Lightroom, from top to bottom, left to right on your own computer, step by step and under the guidance of an expert.

The Lightroom course is presented by Danie Bester.

Danie is the founder of DPC and is a well-respected photography educator and accomplished fine art photographer. He has been hailed by Photo World Magazine, as a Knight of Photography as Art and has been awarded the Admired in Africa’s Grand Master Award for his contributions to the Photography Industry in Africa.

Online Lightroom Course Coming Soon

We are working on creating a Online Lightroom Classic course for our international students who can’t attend in person. If you’re living in South Africa, we strongly recommend you attend the in-person course for extra value.

Who is this course for?

Beginner to advanced photographers.

Course duration

Two days of in-person training. Included in the course is access to additional Lightroom Training Videos with pre-edited images that students can practice on, even after they completed the course!

Requirements

You will need a computer or laptop with a working installation of Adobe Lightroom Classic (LrC). If you do not already have Lightroom Classic, we recommend Adobe’s Photography plan (20GB) for per $9.99 month, which include Lightroom, Lightroom Classic, Photoshop and 20GB of cloud storage. Please note that subscribing to the Photography plan will not automatically install Lightroom Classic and you will have to install it separately from the Creative Cloud App. You can get the Photography Plan (20GB) by clicking here.

Attendees should have basic computer skills and be able to navigate their desktop and file system, copy and paste, select files, etc.
At least 10GB of free disk space for course material.
