“Dancing Ladybird” by Leon Pelser. The photo was taken in Kriel just before sunset. These guys get “alive” when exposing to sunlight !! The photo was taken at 45-degree angle into the sun to obtain a trans-luminous effect. What you see is one of about 100 shots taken over half an hour period. Sony Alpha 200, Sigma 105mm lens, f5.6 @ 1/250 sec, monopod, polarizer filter.
