About the 1-Day Portrait Shoot

Step up your portrait photography to the next level. A professional photographer spends the day with you; shooting models on location.

Course Overview

Classes are limited to 10 people, which means 5 photographers per model gives you ample opportunity to get your shots. We focus on helping you to consistently create good portraits and finding a good balance between consistency and creativity.

  • We shoot two experienced models for a full day both in-studio and on location. We assist with camera settings as well as creative aspects like composition, lighting setups, and poses.

For whom is this Course

  • Intermediate photographers who know the basic aspects of their cameras

Requirements

  • SLR, Mirrorless, or Compact camera with Manual Program Mode. 
  • We recommend you bring along a good portrait lens like the 70-200 mm f/2.8, the 24-105 mm for Canon or the 24-120 mm for Nikon.
  • Basic – intermediate understanding of how to set up your camera i.e. Able to change ISO, Shutter speed, Aperture, accessing the various focusing modes etc.
